The MitID Flex App makes it possible to identify users even when they cannot log in through a traditional MitID login page. For example, it can be used in phone queues (IVR), allowing users to quickly and securely verify their identity without speaking to a customer service representative.

Interactive Voice Response (IVR) Support
Users can authenticate themselves by entering their national ID number (CPR) followed by "#" in a phone queue and then approving the request via the MitID app. This solution ensures fast, secure, and automated identification — saving time and increasing efficiency.

Payment Approval
Use the MitID Flex App to approve payments on devices such as vending machines or smart TVs that do not support a traditional MitID browser interface.

BackOffice Sessions
Enable authentication of back-office sessions, where users confirm their identity without access to a standard MitID login page.

The MitID Flex App requires special review and approval from the Danish Agency for Digitisation and MitID to ensure the solution meets the necessary security requirements.

FLEX APP DEMO

We have created a demo that demonstrates how the solution can work in practice for a phone support agent.

A customer calls support, and during the conversation, there is a need to identify the customer. The customer provides their national ID number (CPR) over the phone, after which the support agent can initiate a MitID login request that is sent directly to the customer's MitID app. The customer can then easily approve the request with a swipe, confirming their identity. This flow ensures efficient and secure authentication directly via the phone.
